Latest Information for BOM21 Competitors

  • Dear Competitors,

As we’re only few days away from the #BOM21, please note the following important information. This edition will incorporate many special requirements to be followed as a condition of your participation. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to sharing this 82nd edition with you!

The BOM tracking app, MySuiviRegate, will be available by Wednesday, June 9 at the latest. A detailed user guide will be given to you during your registration confirmation / race material pickup, available online.
    -    You will be given a PIN code at registration confirmation / race material pickup that will be needed to configure the app (each boat will have its own PIN code).

Many of you have not yet signed up online for your registration confirmation / race material pickup. We remind you that BOM 21 registration confirmation and race material pickup will be handled in predetermined time slots, for which sign-up is obligatory by clicking here. Each competitor is responsible for picking a time slot. Only one person per boat will be admitted to the Société Nautique de Genève (SNG) from Wednesday, June 9 to Friday, June 11.

When you pick up your race material, you’ll also receive a souvenir flag. We invite you to fly it as soon as possible and leave it up until departing from the port just before the start, in order to contribute to the race’s atmosphere despite not having the usual land-based celebrations.

ACCESS TO DOCKS Saturday, June 12 just before the regatta
Access to boats docked in the SNG port will be by specific time slots:
    Far end of dock (6:45-7:30)
    Mid-dock (7:30-8:15)
    Near end of dock (8:15-9:00)

For information, here’s how the SNG dock numbering system works:

    Old port:
    - Dock spaces are numbered starting from the Cologny Quai and increasing toward the lake end
    - Docks A, B, C, D, E

    New port:
    - Dock spaces are numbered starting from the central dock and increasing toward the extremities
    - Docks F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M

    For ALL docks:

Spaces on the Lausanne side have odd numbers
Spaces on the Geneva side have even numbers

Entrance to the SNG will be by the second gate, behind the clubhouse (see map). Exit will be via the main entrance.

We remind you that the SNG will be closed to the public. The clubhouse, including the restaurant, will only be accessible to SNG members and therefore exceptionally closed to competitors.
