The 2021 Bol d'Or Mirabaud is Coming

  • The Bol d’Or Mirabaud organizing committee has begun active preparations for the 2021 edition. In collaboration with the organizing club, the Société Nautique de Genève, and loyal event partners, the committee is putting everything in place so that the race may take place this coming June 11-13.

We are closely following the pandemic and relative rules in effect in Switzerland, and will adapt the event’s format as necessary. Notably, land-based activities could be modified to comply with public health standards. After canceling the 2020 edition, the committee will do its best to ensure that the festival takes place in the best possible conditions. While the committee is well aware that competitors are anxious to get back on the water after almost a year off, its principal objective remains the protection of all participants: sailors, volunteers, partners and organizers.

“We are determined to launch the 82nd Bol d’Or Mirabaud in 2021 and the organizing committee is therefore preparing various options for the land-based festivities,” explains organizing committee president Rodolphe Gautier. “On thing is certain though. The race will stay the same on the water.”

More information will be distributed as the situation becomes clarified. You can already block off Saturday, June 12 in your calendar!

Registration will open in the Spring like every year at:

Until then, stay well and stay safe!
