A Dream Regatta for Monohulls too

  • While the first multihulls advance toward the finish line, the monohulls racing in this Bol d'Or Mirabaud, which is benefitting from historically favorable conditions, are also enjoying the taste of an exciting, dynamic and pleasant race.

The battle is tough at the head of the TCFX fleet (large, non-rated monohulls), with Implantcentre Raffica still in the lead ahead of Taillevent, Syz & Co and Outsider 5 - Not Shy. Implantcentre Raffica, unstable downwind, isn't the guaranteed winner. In fact, logically, Taillevent shouldn't stay in second place on the return leg, on a fast downwind reach. We are awaiting the return of the "sleds" and should see changes within the current ranking.

Black Swan is leading the TCF1 class by a large margin, ahead of Chez Pierrette and Gaston et Canopus 3.

On the other hand, there's a very tight duel in the TCF2 class, with Atalante ahead of Gaudin and Dernière Minute, offshore of Evian.

The Surprises - the largest class in this Bol d’Or Mirabaud - are currently offshore of La Ripaille. Luna is leading the show ahead of Mirabaud 1 and Velasco.

Among the Grand Surprises, Apsara is way ahead, following an excellent start, with currently a 2.5-kilometer lead over Little Nemo and Passetougrain, winner of last week's Genève-Rolle-Genève.
